Privacy notice for job applicants
Who is responsible
Each job is posted by the company named on it. That company decides how to use your application and is responsible for it. CROK hosts these pages for them.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form: your name, email, phone number (optional) and the resume you upload, plus the job you applied for, when you applied, and the version of the consent you agreed to. To stop abuse we keep a one-way scrambled form of your IP address and email for up to 2 days. We do not set cookies on this site and do not use advertising or tracking tools.
We never ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, photo, salary history or criminal history on this site.
Why we use it
Only to consider you for jobs at the company you applied to and to contact you about your application. Resumes are encrypted, checked for viruses, and never made public.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. It is seen only by the hiring team at the company you applied to and by the service providers that run this site for them (hosting, email delivery and virus scanning), under contract.
How long we keep it
Up to 2 years from your application, then it is deleted, unless the law requires the company to keep it longer. If you never click the confirmation link we email you, nothing is kept beyond 48 hours.
Your rights
You can ask to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and residents of other states with privacy laws have similar rights; we give them to everyone. We will not treat you differently for using them. We answer within 45 days.
How to ask
Reply to any email we sent you about your application, or contact the company you applied to directly. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address you applied with so nobody else can get or delete your information. You can also use an authorized agent.
